My journey with edge tools began far from West Michigan. Having been born in Zeist, Netherlands, I grew up with a deep appreciation for classic craftsmanship, attention to detail, and quality design. When I relocated, I carried that same European dedication to work standards and precision with me.

Now at 17 years old, I have directed my focus and dedication toward business and local entrepreneurship. Vanguard Sharpening was founded not just as a business, but as a commitment to serve others by breathing new life into the tools they rely on daily.
